Appearance.

Erio is a petite, lithe woman with fair complexion and sapphire eyes. The Raen has light brown hair styled in a hime cut, though it is not unlikely to see it fashioned differently to suit the occasion.She is reserved in appearance and personality, electing to dress feminine and elegant. Some of Erio's favorite accessories include glass pumpkin and firecrest earrings, an eternity ring; she may choose to forgo silver horn ornaments.

Personality.

A woman of many facets, Erio is quiet, calm and collected, yet compassionate. Her altruism and strong moral compass draws her to new situations and experiences. Despite her small stature, she is fiercely protective of the people and lands she holds dear. Erio would throw herself at the helm of danger, for nothing makes her happier than seeing them happy.An ardent practitioner of magic, traveling and searching the realm for knowledge. From swords to brushes, Erio, The Unpainted World takes to the West to experience new cultures and all else Etheirys has to offer.

Appearance.

Like her namesake, Aster has lilac eyes and long blue hair neatly kept by a clip. A tall, lean frame following even sharper features. The Au Ra is adorned with dark scales that particularly brush the bridge of her nose.A well-dressed woman, her face seldom betraying carefully crafted composure. Aster carries herself with an air of professionalism. A glass pumpkin dangles beneath a horn, an eternity ring fits the opposite hand.

Personality.

Independent and nothing short of serious, Aster is professional and meticulous. A determined workaholic, lest she processes a singular thought, let alone a feeling. Her background and experience in the Immortal Flames and the Wolves' Den makes her a capable opponent in combat and argument. Despite her stern demeanor, appears a woman who is not immune to sweet treats and cute things.Beneath the hardened gaze and cold exterior one could only describe as performative, lies a ragged woman living her honest convictions. Whether it's chakrams or pen and paper hand in hand, Aster works towards a brighter future for those she can. She believes that in this cold, unforgiving world, there are footsteps leaving hope and warmth in their wake.

  • Aster's name is inspired by the song Sion (feat. isui) from the EP ASTER by Islet.

  • Aster's flower is the Tatarian aster (Aster tataricus). In Japan, Aster tataricus is known as shion (紫苑).

Chromatic Step follows a chronological order of the main scenario quests with Erio as the Warrior of Light. Their story closely follows the canon, minor divergences, and the game's "time bubble."* This timeline is a work in progress with future updates.

Pre- A Realm Reborn

In the same fleeting moment.

◆ 1553: Aster is born in Othard.

◆ 1554: Erio Takanashi is born in Yanxia, Othard.

◆ 1562: Aster's family and other Xaela refugees attempt to settle in Coerthas, but are slaughtered by Ishgardians.

◆ 1563: Aster (9-10 y.o.) makes for other city-states. Ishgard closes its gates.

◆ 1571: Aster (17-18 y.o.) enlists in the Immortal Flames.

◆ 1572: Bahamut lays waste to Eorzea, marking the Seventh Umbral Calamity.

A Realm Reborn

Thou must live. Die. And know.

◆ 1577: Five years after the Calamity, the events of A Realm Reborn begin.

◆ Erio (23 y.o.) arrives in Ul'dah, joins the Adventurers' Guild and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.

◆ Erio slays the primal Ifrit with the help of the Echo. She accepts membership to join the Immortal Flames.

◆ Erio and Aster cross paths through duty and Grand Company missions.

◆ Follows the events of A Realm Reborn.

Dawntrail

Of the new dawn.
